In light of the ongoing public health emergency,
Grace Covenant's officers have decided to suspend
all on-site and in-person Grace Covenant ministries
until further notice.
One of the main ways we do community and discipleship at Grace Covenant is in our small groups. Our groups meet evenings during the week both at the church building and throughout the south Twin Cities metro.
We aim to do four things in each small group:
Ours is a faith based on the Word of God. We study the Bible together to hear and heed God's voice.
We come before God giving thanks, confessing sin, praising Him for who He is and what He has done, and asking for His help.
We do the hard work of helping each other live out the Gospel of grace in real, everyday life.
We look to the needs of others, in our small group, in our church community, and in our larger community.
We want your children to be loved and nurtured in Jesus Christ. Children aged 3 to grade 6 meet each week (Sept-May, summers off) during our Christian Formation hour (11am-12pm) to learn a variety of topics and biblical books and themes, including God's character and learning the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
Each fall and spring semester, we teach classes on Sundays (11am-12pm) that focus on our mission of Worship, Discipleship, and Mission. This winter, we're reading Jerry Bridges' The Discipline of Grace together, coordinating with our Ephesians sermon series, learning how God's grace is the foundation of our pursuit of holiness.
Our Women's Ministry Team serves the women of Grace Covenant through events focused on discipleship and hospitality. We meet in the evening of the third Thursday of each month with a discipleship focus, and are eagerly anticipating a spring tea with our sister churches Good Shepherd and City Life.
Our Men's Ministry Team brings the men of Grace Covenant together for food and fellowship (we call it The TABLE) to build relationships and foster discipleship among the men of the church. Beef. It's not just for breakfast anymore.
We seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our neighbors, our state and beyond. We support missionaries in the field and participate in mission work. On our most recent trip we served South Dakota tribal members by working on a cemetery restoration project with a sister church.
