Growth
Groups

One of the main ways we do community and discipleship at Grace Covenant is in our Growth Groups. Our groups meet evenings during the week both at the church building and throughout the south Twin Cities metro.

We aim to do four things in each group:

Studying.

Ours is a faith based on the Word of God. We study the Bible together to hear and heed God's voice.

Praying.

We come before God giving thanks, confessing sin, praising Him for who He is and what He has done, and asking for His help.

Discipling.

We do the hard work of helping each other live out the Gospel of grace in real, everyday life.

Serving.

We look to the needs of others, in our growth group, in our church community, and in our larger community.

KIDS

We want your children to be loved and nurtured in Jesus Christ. Children aged 3 to grade 8 meet each week (Sept-May, summers off) during our Christian Formation hour to learn a variety of topics and biblical books and themes using curriculum from Great Commissions Publications.

Formation

Each fall and spring semester, we teach classes after the Sunday worship service that focus on Worship, Discipleship, and Mission. This fall, we're learning to be and to make disciples by studying The Peacemaker by Ken Sande, to put the power and beauty of the Gospel on display in biblical conflict resolution by equipping the congregation to live the Gospel of peace in an age of conflict.

Women of Grace

Our Women's Ministry Team serves the women of Grace Covenant through events focused on discipleship and hospitality. This October, we're hosting a conference, Pour Out Your Heart, to be and make disciples by maturing in our prayer lives.

Men of Grace

Men of Grace is our large-group discipleship ministry for the men of Grace Covenant. This fall, we have two events to build the relationships necessary for discipleship. In October, we're having a Reformation Day party, deepening our appreciation of the Reformation. In November we're hosting a War Movie Night, watching and discussing what we learn of the Gospel and biblical manhood.

EQUIP-U Workshops

Equip-U Workshops help us to learn and live Jesus through hands-on training of skills we need to grow as disciples of Christ. This fall, our Equip-U workshop will teach Growth Group leading skills.
