Our Ministries
Small
Groups
One of the main ways we do community and discipleship at Grace Covenant is in our small groups. Our groups meet evenings during the week both at the church building and throughout the south Twin Cities metro.
We aim to do four things in each small group:
Studying.
Ours is a faith based on the Word of God. We study the Bible together to hear and heed God's voice.
Praying.
We come before God giving thanks, confessing sin, praising Him for who He is and what He has done, and asking for His help.
Discipling.
We do the hard work of helping each other live out the Gospel of grace in real, everyday life.
Serving.
We look to the needs of others, in our small group, in our church community, and in our larger community.
Covenant
KIDS
We want your children to be loved and nurtured in Jesus Christ. Children aged 3 to grade 6 meet each week (Sept-May, summers off) during our Christian Formation hour to learn a variety of topics and biblical books and themes. We will begin our winter/spring semester on Jan 31, resuming teaching through the Bible using curriculum from Great Commissions Publications.
Adult
Christian
Formation
Each fall and spring semester, we teach classes on Sundays that focus on our mission of Worship, Discipleship, and Mission. From now until Easter, we are reading Gentle and Lowly (Dane Ortlund) together.
Women's
Ministry
Our Women's Ministry Team serves the women of Grace Covenant through events focused on discipleship and hospitality. We have 5 meetings planned this winter/spring semester, the Third Thursday of each month. All relate to a main topic, but each meeting is stand-alone, so if you miss one, you can come to the next one!
January 21: The Need for Hope
February 18: The Need for Worship
March 18: The Need for Fellowship
April 15: The Need for Solitude
May 20: The Need for Joyful Duty
Men's
Ministry
Our Men's Ministry Team brings the men of Grace Covenant together for food and fellowship (we call it The TABLE) to build relationships and foster discipleship among the men of the church. Beef. It's not just for breakfast anymore.
EQUIP-U Workshop
Bible Study Skills
The Equip-U Workshop helps us to learn and live Jesus through hands-on training of skills we need to grow as disciples of Christ.
This semester, we're having a workshop on the craft of bible study, both for those just beginning to do bible study and those who want to keep improving at it. We will meet on Sat Feb 27 for two hours of hands-on learning aimed at hearing and heeding Scripture.
GraceCov Library
Grace Covenant’s church library supports our church in worship, discipleship and mission and in displaying the manifold excellencies of God by providing for the church solid Christian books and literature as well as quality secular books and literature toward the formation of thoughtful Gospel-centered Christian life and community.

This year, we're working on our 2021 Reading Challenge to read 8 books from the library in different categories and time periods.
